Together with Prof. Resch-Sonnberger and Prof. Eidenberger, we started our trip early on May 11.

After we had met at school shortly after midnight, we went to Bratislava by bus. Our plane left the airport at a quarter to seven a.m. and we finally arrived in Dublin at half past nine a.m. Then we went to our language school by bus and we were welcomed very warmly - there was also a nice introductory speech. We also had our first lesson in the afternoon, for which we were split up into two groups. Afterwards, all the students were picked up by their host families and we got dinner at their homes.

School started at nine o'clock on Friday. Again, were split, with one group spending time in the library and the other one staying at school. After one and a half hours, the groups switched. On that day we also made a nice tour through Dublin. We visited various places, such as Trinity College and the post office. After dinner, we practised Irish dancing, which was funny and exhausting at the same time.

On Saturday, we made a trip to Powerscourt, where we spent some time to visit the beautiful gardens in the area. Afterwards, we went to Glendalough - the road was pretty dangerous! After we had arrived, we made a hiking tour to two wonderful lakes and a cemetery. The weather was bad, but we still enjoyed it very much!

We made a cliff walk from Greystones to Bray on Sunday. This time around, the weather was actually nice. After that trip, we enjoyed some free time in Dublin.

On Monday, we attended school again and in the afternoon, we visited the Museum of Ireland, which was very interesting since the tour was also interactive. After having dinner with our host families, we made a treasure hunt in Dun Laoghaire - we had lots of fun!

We had school again on Tuesday in the morning and then we visited Trinity College and the library. Afterwards, we had some free time in Dublin again and in the evening, two actors led us to some of Dublin's pubs. In the meantime, we got some information about famous Irish writers.

Wednesday was our last full day in Dublin. In the morning, we visited different places, like the National Gallery of Ireland or the archaeology museum. In the afternoon, we attended school for the last time and we also spent some time with our host families.

On Thursday, we started our trip back home at six in the morning. All in all, we had a great week. The language school was interesting and we were able to learn a lot, we visited some really interesting places and last but not least, we had a lot of fun together.
